Curated by Wurundjeri (Woiwurrung) / Yorta Yorta screen creative and actor Tony Briggs (creator & writer of The Sapphires), the Festival will present over 100 beautiful, raw, inspiring and heartbreaking feature length and short films from across the world.

In 2023, the BIRRARANGGA Film Festival will feature films from New Zealand, Canada, USA, Norway, Sweden, Greenland, Mexico, Russia, Hawaii and Australia.
