Curated by Wurundjeri (Woiwurrung) / Yorta Yorta screen creative and actor Tony Briggs (creator & writer of "The Sapphires"), the Festival will present over 100 beautiful, raw, inspiring and heartbreaking feature-length and short films from across the world.

In 2023, the BIRRARANGGA Film Festival will feature films from New Zealand, Canada, USA, Norway, Sweden, Greenland, Mexico, Russia, Hawaii and Australia.
